Zalina Barrington
Born in Gisborne and raised in Taranaki and Australia, Zalina has lived in the Waikato for more than 20 years. Since 2008 she has been working on a Diploma in Art & Creativity with The Learning Connexion, which she will complete in 2010.
Zalina is a versatile artist who works in a variety of mediums and techniques, from paints, inks, pastels and collage, to 3D and crafts. Art and Crafts were her strongest points while homeschooling her children. Zalina also writes and illustrates children's books, often drawing on character traits of her own family for the characters.
