"My studio practice is grounded in contemporary abstract painting and painting installation, and this work represents various aspects of an ongoing investigation. Questioning the status and presence/absence of the art object, immediacy and temporality - the ambiguous possibilities in a fleeting moment, dependant on the quality of light and time of day. I am interested in the dynamics of the space, the work, the viewer and the engagement/flux between."
