Kate works from her studio/gallery in the heart of New Zealand’s Waikato overlooking the bush and rural landscape which provide some of her inspiration. Other influences are generated by the complexity and pressures of 21st century life.
“I have lived in New Zealand for more than 20 years and during that time have been working with fabric and fibre, print and paint. Right now I am very excited by the direction my work is taking as I push the boundaries and combine elements of all these media. I am also extremely interested in integrating works digitally to develop and extend their possibilities.”
Kate’s pieces can be found in private and public collections through New Zealand
